Plants can have such a big impact on the built environment, but that impact can be either positive or negative. Learn to understand the circumstances of the site, and the criteria for making a good choice; then develop the palette of plant species you are choosing from.  Make better choices and have better impacts in you attempts to green up urban areas, private, public & commercial sites.
